Bird Watching Obsessed!

My name is Derek and although once upon a time I was English teacher, these days you will not find me in the classroom but in the great outdoors indulging in my favourite past time of bird-watching. I have been bird-watching since I was a little boy and my father used to take me out with him so it’s been a life-long hobby.

As a child I was really interested in watching but as I got older I started to learn more about the birds themselves and develop a more rounded interest in ornithology.
